The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has allowed encroachment and illegal construction in Mehmoodabad and surrounding areas but neither the SBCA officials take heavy bribe directly with the land mafia or builders nor the encroachers have any link to them but the SBCA now take money which called ‘monthly utility bills’ by its some agents those SBCA has already been appointed citywide, sources, victims and aggrieved persons claimed as revealed in-front of Messenger.
Rashid Gujjar allegedly hands over the ‘monthly’ to the SBCA official Naseer Magsi who is also the Recovery Head of K-Electric (KE), Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and many other public and private organizations along with his recovery team, sources further claimed.
Despite dozens of complaints and beside the stay order issued by the Sindh High Court against a Constitutional Petition No. 3945/2020 filed by Muhammad Noman son of Muhammad Ashraf, the SBCA Recovery Agent Rashid Gujjar under the full assistance and supervision of area police has started construction on Plot No 369/586 situated in Mehmoodabad No. 2 near National Saving Centre and another plot which is also situated in same Kachhi Abadi region and because of the said multiple stories construction, the area residents are angry, they demanded authorities to stop illegal constructions and encroachments and strict action against culprit Rashid Gujjar and his entire builder as well as land mafia team, sourced concluded.
