Shahbaz Sharif meets PPP leadership in Karachi

PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif visited Karachi and reviewed areas affected by rain in other areas including Malir and criticized the government while addressing the victims.

Shahbaz Sharif also meets PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto, former president Asif Ali Zardari and renowned social activist Faisal Edhi during his visit.

He said that the victims of the torrential rains and floods should be immediately disposed of and the heirs of the deceased should be financed.

He said that instead of wasting time in waste negotiations, the Prime Minister should focus on the service of the people in distress and the federal government should announce relief checks with the provincial government’s talks.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the federal government should fulfill its duty instead of politics and help the Sindh government.

The PML-N president urged the league workers to share in the relief work of the victims.

In Malir  Shahbaz Sharif, party leaders Feroz Khan, Malik Taj and Haji Amin Mana along with other activists met.

In  addition, Shahbaz Sharif reviewed the affected area of ​​Gulistan-e-Jauhar and condoled the affected people and then Shahbaz sharif went Bilawal house .

Former President Asif Ali Zardari welcomed the opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif on his arrival at Bilawal House.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Farhatullah Babar, Naveed Qamar, PML-N leaders Ahsan Iqbal, Maryam Aurangzeb and Muhammad Zubair were present on the occasion.

After the meeting, the leaders of the two parties held a joint press conference.

PPP leader Naveed Qamar told reporters that Shahbaz Sharif has come to Karachi for troubles in times of trouble, not only in other provinces but also in danger of flood, it is time to work together.

PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said that we have come to Sindh to express solidarity with the affected people. We have assured the people of Sindh that the whole country is equal partner in their sufferings. Help the Federal Government of Sindh to pay compensation to the victims.

Ahsan Iqbal further said that the agreement between Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto requires implementation, Parliament will struggle together for sovereignty, democratic process, democratic, constitutional and people’s rights were discussed in the Affiliate Republic.
