Sindh Minister for Information and Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the beauty of Karachi will be restored and the infrastructure of the city affected by torrential rains will be gradually rebuilt.
According to Nasir Hussain Shah, the recent heavy rains appeared in the form of a natural disaster that has badly affected the entire local government system and infrastructure of the city, a large number of people were affected by the situation and also lost property.
The Sindh government has faced the whole situation with the people in this difficult time and insha’Allah we will restore the colors of Karachi under a mutual consensus and joint strategy.
The Local Government Minister said that the Chief Minister Sindh has given special orders to assess the devastation caused by the rains and the federal government should extend special cooperation to the provinces in this emergency situation.
According to Nasir Hussain Shah, unless all the affected families get complete relief, the Sindh government will not breathe a sigh of relief and do everything possible to help the people.
Nasir Hussain Shah further said that the opposition should show responsibility and play an active role in reviving the development of the city and the province so that this hour of trouble comes to an end soon.
