Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) and Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) collaborate and coordinate efforts and resources to support the current COVID-19 pandemic response.
Under this collaboration, SPO with the financial assistance of Water Aid have constructed one permanent toilet and placed three portable hand washing stations, each equipped with liquid soap, in JPMC’s emergency ward, Corona Center and Eye Ward. SPO will also continue to contribute to the ongoing initiatives of JPMC related to the pandemic response.
Present at the toilet facility Inauguration Ceremony were SPO’s Regional Coordinator Mr. Pirbhu Lal Satyani and JPMC’s Executive Director Dr. Seemi Jamali. Also present at the ceremony were JPMC’s senior management members, senior doctors, officials of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), SPO team members and Dr Yahya Khan Tunio, Deputy Executive Director JPMC.
