District Council Karachi’s budget session held yesterday presided by DCK Chairman Salman Abdullah Murad in which 3 billion, 16 crore and 14 lac budget was presented for the budget session 2020-2021.
10 percent increment in salary of employees was announced in budget session, 10 crore and 50 lac were kept for progressive expenditures, 2 billion 5 crore and 63 lac for non-development were allocated even a crore and 38 lac were allocated for health, 38 crore for natural disasters, 10 crore for water supply for villages, 10 crore and 50 lac for roads construction, 10 crore and 50 lac for sewerage lines, a crore and 70 lac for parks construction, 1 crore for sold waste, 2 crore for small and big drains cleaning, 2 crore for social welfare and 2 crore for sports were allocated in budget of 20-21 year.
In this regards chairman DCK Salman Abdullah Murad said that District Council Karachi has presented public supporting budgets which will meet public demands.He said that their success is because of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Asif Ali Zardari and Bilal Bhutto’s vision.
He said that Karachi progressive plans will be accomplished in the month August.He further said that Shaheed Ghulam Murtaza Balouch was their hero and will remain too. He said that they are with Steel Mill Employees and imran Khan is killer of Pakistani economy.
On that occasion MMembers of DCK Mir Abbas Talpur, Ali Ahmed Jokhio, Tariq Balouch, Akhtar Yousuf Arfani, Abu Bakar Memon and others expressed their views also.Vice chairman Rafiq Jat, chief officer Ayaz Hameed Balouch, District engineer Fazal Mehmood Gill, Sajida Memon, Fatima Majeed, Mehr-u-Nisa, Afzal Jokhio and others attended the budget session.
