Registration of 15 Schools in Mirpurkhas suspended over violation of the Government of Sindh Orders, the Assistant Director Private Institutions Sindh & Focal person of DG Sindh Dr. Nusrat Sahito warned for strict action in case of schools opening till 13th March.

As on Sunday 2nd March, Presiding over the fourth meeting of the Taskforce on Coronavirus in Sindh, the chief minister in consultation with the task force members, particularly the doctors, decided to keep educational institutions closed till March 13. “This closure will help suspects kept in isolation to complete their quarantine period,” CM said.

Directorate of Private Institutions inspection team headed by Nusrat Sahito on the directives of Director General of Directorate of Inspection & Registration of Private Institutions Sindh Dr. Mansoob Hussain Siddiqui on Tuesday visited 22 private schools in different areas of Mirpurkhas city to identify the schools which were opened despite of the orders of Sindh Government for closure of schools to get citizens safe from the spread of Corona Virus.

During the visit, inspection teams found 15 private schools were open despite the provincial government announcement for the closure of schools till 13th March 2020.

Moreover, the inspection teams suspended the registration of those schools which they visited and found violating the orders of Sindh Government.

Speaking with City News Dr. Nusrat stated that if the said schools would violate the orders again then the department would cancel the registration.

However, she informed that, The report of said schools also forwarded to the director of Mirpurkhas for further action in case of violation.

It was learned that the Focal Person on the directives of Director General would visit other districts of the province gradually to monitor the violation and ensure the implementation of the orders of the Sindh Government.

Whereas, The Schools whose registration suspended were Vital School, Moonlight School, Shah Latif School, Shahbaz School, Al Mehran High School including others.
