The legislators of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf met the party leader Jahangir Tareen at his residence in Islamabad yesterday.The five displeased MNAs included Shakoor Shad, Jamil Ahmed Khan, Attaullah Advocate, Faheem Khan and Aftab Jehangir elected from Karachi met Jahangir Tareen on being ignored, source told.
The party MNAs expressed their grievances to Jahngir Tareen and told that during earlier visit the Prime Minister had assured the PTI MNAs of releasing development funds for and Karachi on our request but the government did not fulfilled the commitment of Prime Minister yet.
A source informed that these five MNAs have got disappointment as they were trying to meet with the PM Imran Khan regarding their concerns but they didn’t get an appointment.
Meanwhile, source told City news that Jahangir Tareen assured he will convey their grievances to the PM and would also arrange a meeting with Prime Minister. He told the elected MNAs of Karachi that he will request the PM to review his commitment and release of development funds for the MNAs of Karachi.
“I and my constituency are being ignored continuously,” Shakoor Shad stated earlier in the month of September 2019.
Before few months MNA Shakoor Shad who had defeated PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari from Lyari NA246, considered to resign on being ignored by the government but after the assurance of funds he took back his decision.
