GHA warns for closure of OPDs across Sindh

An emergency meeting of Grand Health Alliance (GHA) Sindh was held at National Institute of Child Health Karachi, chaired by Chairman Dr. Mehboob Noonari, Dr. Muhammad Khan Shar, Ijaz Kaleri and Akhlaq Ahmad Khan.

All the office bearers of relevant organizations attended the meeting , a detailed discussion was held regarding the movement, allowances and the attitude of the committee formed by the Sindh Government was strongly condemned as the committee assured them for resolving issues after ending of protest.

Chairman GHA stated that, It was assured that issue would be resolved on time, but despite the passage of more than a month, the issue has not resolved, nor the meeting of the committee held again.

The pressure of employees on the leadership is increasing due to which it was decided in today’s meeting that a delegation will met Secretary Finance, Secretary Health and Health Minister, he added.

GHA decided to start protest from the next week if the provincial government would not resolve issues and Committee formed by Sindh government will be responsible for it.

He said that GHA don’t want to close hospitals but unfortunately Sindh Government is not taking interest in resolving our issues .

In a meeting Grand Health Alliance office bearers urged to Chief Minister Sindh and Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to accept their legitimate demands immediately, otherwise they will be forced to close OPDs and other departments of hospitals across Sindh.
