Madina Colony police claimed to have arrested two persons and recovered weapons from their possession at muwanch turn near the ice factory here on Wednesday. According to SHO Madina Colony Salim Rind, on the directions of SSP Keamari, Fida Hussain Janwari, and SP Baldia division Cap (r) Faizan Ali, the Madina colony police conducting search operation against street criminals to control the criminal activity in the jurisdiction.
In this regards the Police Station Madina colony staff was busy in routine checking at saeedabad Baldian, beside main hub river road they spotted a motorcycle when the police team had found them suspicious called them during the course of action arms and ammunition was recovered, two 30 bore pistol with two loaded magazines from their possession. The suspects were identified as Muhammad Yousuf son of Abdullah and Bilal son of Qadir who was arrested on the spot.
When contacted with the Station House officer Madina Colony Mr.Salim Rind he had confirmed and said that the suspects were not able to justify carrying the illegal weapons, therefore case No. 181/2021 and 182 offenses under Section 23 (1) A were registered against the accused.
Further investigation is in progress, If any other offenses are further identified by the accused, legal action will be taken against them, he said that over the directives of senior officers, Madina Colony will be conducting operations against street crime and criminal elements.
