Ancient Pir Sarhandi village of Union Council Kotiraro deprived from fundamental rights and amenities from a decade, in this regards young men of Pir Sarhandi village had pleading demonstration before Awami Press Club Malir Memon village led by Naveed Jokhio, Khalil Jokhio, Sharafat Ali, Ghulam Ali and others and hailed severe slogans of restoration of human rights and life basic facilities.
They also had press conference at Awami Press Club Malir on emergency basis about the hardships, troubles and tribulations of villagers and for the provision of basic right.
On that occasion the protesters talked with journalists about village issues that the tenure of local government is about to end and millions of rupees are shown in documents but still many villagers of Pir Sarhandi are devoid from drinking water, education, Health, Sanitation and progressive schemes till today.
They further told that they are coerced to survive dark age life in today’s globalization and modern world and on other hand Land grabbers have become active in confiscation on surrounding land of village and government and started settling foreigners on that land rapidly due to that village people have been unsecured.
Pir Sarhandi habitants demanded from Sindh Government and other concerned authorities to resolve the fundamental issues of Pir Sarhandi village having fair accountability of corrupt local government officials and representatives and legal execution against land grabbers also have progressive schemes on vacant lands.
