Captain Jamil meets Governor Sindh; Issues related to Clean Karachi Campaign discussed

Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf’s Member of National Assembly met with Governor Sindh Imran Ismail on Wednesday at Governor House Karachi to congratulate him on offering Hajj.

Captain Jamil Ahmed Khan MNA of NA-237 & Parliamentary Secretary for Maritime Affairs informed that issues and hurdles related to clean Karachi campaign also discussed during the meeting. Similarly, the Issue of Sindh Government’s non-cooperation in clean Karachi campaign also shared with the Governor.

“It’s an issue to move garbage to the Landfilling area from different areas, we are lifting garbage and dumping it in different places but the government of Sindh have no designated sites for garbage collection in any area”, he added.

Moreover, Captain Jameel shared that, By the permission of Cantonment Board garbage collection site designated in Malir District from where the garbage will move to the landfill site.

MNA said the Residents of NA-237 have given an overwhelming response and appreciating the efforts of PTI as there was no proper mechanism of garbage lifting in past.

Whereas Governor Sindh expressed satisfaction on the performance of PTI lawmakers for making Karachi a clean city. However, PTI MPA Raja Azhar was also present in the meeting.
