PPP District West hold’s Protest and Black Day

PPakistan People’s Party (PPP) district west had observed “Black Day” on Tuesday, June 11 against the arrest of Asif Ali Zardari former president of Pakistan at Baldia town. PPP Sindh district west President Liaquat Ali said party workers are very furious against the arrest of their Co-Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party and they are ready to handle any situation which would going to be occurred.

Today the party leaders and workers are gathered to record a strong protest on decision taken by the government. The protest would like to be continuing and workers wear black arm bands at the district headquarters across the province to protest against the arrest of Asif Ali Zardari.

, the protest would be completely peaceful said Nasir Hussain Shah Minister for transport sindh . Asif  Musa General Secretary of Pakistan People’s Party (PS-15) addressed the protesters that we respect the court decisions however, we have the right to protest peacefully in all over the country.

He said PTI government could not hide its incompetence by arresting opposition leaders. Following the instructions of party leader’s workers came out for protest in different cities, likely in Lahore, Bajaur(KPK), Tando Muhammad Khan, Badin, Gharo, Rajanpur, Hyderabad, Khairpur, Mirpur Azad Kashmir and Sehwan, protests were held against the arrest of the PPP leader. On Monday large number of workers including the members of sidh assembaly, and council has recorded a protest presided by the Pakistan People’s Party  Sindh president Nisar Ahmed Khuhro outside Karachi press club to show solidarity with Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
